The third in the critical series doesn't disappoint. Such an excellent series. I really hope it continues as there are some interesting potential plot lines and Wearmouth & Barnes write very well. The story line and characters are engaging and fully developed.Only negative is it needs another editing pass to clean up what looks like reconstruction of a handful of sentences. The story makes that a very minor issue.

An exciting read from the beginning, all the way to the end! Once started, it was a thrilling ride, with fast paced non-stop adventure throughout the whole story. Written well enough that it will give you the feeling you lived it through all the characters presented in this thriller. Read and enjoy... I sure did!
Critical Strike was by far the finest, most comprehensive and well writen portion of the series. I have to say I was less impressed with parts 1 and 2 in that they were at times a bit "scattered" in plot development and seemed to do a less than adequate job of preparing the reader for timeline changes and development of characters. It's not to say I didnt enjoy them, it's just that they were a bit cumbersome to digest. Strike does its job of suming up and putting together the entire series for the reader. Expect great twists and turns right up to the end and a seamless preperation for, dare I say a "continuation of the series". One can only hope. Good read.
You never know where this one is going or how your going to get there but you do know that you are going to enjoy the ride. Evil comes and goes, or has it always been here? The future present and past walk together arm and arm as Wearmouth and Barnes take you on a sci fy thrill ride like you have never experienced before, truly this is one to remember. Buyitreaditloveit
This is one of the best series I have ever read. I' m 72 years old, and I started reading sci-fi at the age of 13. Your premises were a unique trip. I've often thought that perhaps this wasn't our first home. I look forward to Denver's quest please don't say no.
Critical Strike was a fantastic ending to the world jumping Critical series. With the Jackson men leading the charge to save humanity, you can't help but cheer for the sheer magnitude of characters who give their all to save our species from extinction. The authors descriptions of the aliens, their technology and their world's immerse you into the story so you can't put the book down. Loved it! Thank you for the exciting read.

The characters were wonderful, the books were so exciting and nothing less than a great read through each and every one.
Many edge of the seat moments, especially with the outcome of Augustus, the Croatians , the surprise of the prism. A truly great science fiction read. Loved it and this would make such a great movie. Keep me coming fellas, eh 😍😍
This series takes you places that are not only totaly unexpected but drive the story in directions you happily didn't see coming.
I just had a real hard time putting it down and it kept me up late a few nights in a row. The action is non stop once it starts but you are first romances into whet at first appears to be some kind of long drawen out space shuttle of lfepods over several generations of ships operators and there stories.
But you are just st the first steep hill of the roller coaster…so hang on you are now just getting launched into one of your best reads
